Shout Out to Student – Jayde Powell

I wanted to share with you all I had the pleasure of meeting Jayde, a CASAT graduate from our minor and practicum, in Spring 2020 and she just received the Sam Lieberman Regents’ Award for Student Scholarship for her academic achievements, leadership ability, and service contributions. She completed our program in December and will be attending our ceremony on the 13th. She is truly an inspiration and I know she will go far.

“Powell is majoring in biology and psychology with two minors, one in addiction treatment services and one in chemistry. Powell has been a dedicated community servant from a young age. Most recently, Powell founded the nonprofit Shopping Angels to deliver groceries to the at-risk and immunocompromised during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
