Job Description
As the Senior Project Coordinator of NevadaCARES Advocacy center, I serve as a state mandated confidential
advocate, providing and coordinating trauma-informed case management, crisis intervention, and survivor-centered advocacy for student, staff, and faculty survivors of sexual and/or interpersonal violence. While helping navigate survivor rights and options with systems of the University, including the Office of Student Conduct, Academic Advising, Residence Life, financial aid, Title IX, Disability Resource Center, Counseling Center, Police Services, etc. and community partners.

I began my work with CASAT on June 1, 2022.
Work History
Previous to CASAT I worked as a Crisis Intervention and Outreach Intern with Safe Embrace providing assistance, taking crisis calls, and providing process groups with community partners. I also was able to work at West Hills Hospital prior to its closure as a Social Work Intern, where I provided psycho-educational groups for patients and providing case management.
Personal Bio
I am a recent graduate from UNR where I received both my BSW and MSW. I am extremely passionate about being of service and being able to help individuals in various life experiences. I love reading cheesy novels, listening to true crime podcasts, playing with my corgi Marvel, and being with my family.
