Biography

Job Description

My main role at CASAT is to do evaluation work under the SOR grant to review weekly GPRA data from Nevada treatment providers. I also do a variety of other evaluation tasks, such as researching, writing literature reviews, and creating reports.

Years at CASAT/Positions Held

I have worked at CASAT since February 2023.

Work History

While receiving my undergraduate degree in Public Health, I volunteered for numerous nonprofits and worked as a Client Advocate at a residential treatment facility in Reno. After becoming a Public Health graduate student, I was a Dementia Friendly Nevada Intern for the Dementia, Engagement, Education, and Research Program (DEER) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Throughout the graduate program, I also worked as a Summer Farm Educator at Urban Roots and as a Donations and Volunteer Coordinator at Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity.

Personal Bio

I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, but I have been living in Reno for over 6 years. While in Reno, I love going outside, running, hiking, weightlifting, and kickboxing. When I’m not outside, I love talking with my family and discovering new books to read or TV shows to watch with my partner. I’m a huge fan of horror movies and I always enjoy spending time with my cats, Summer and Nova.
