Job Description

I am the web developer for the CASAT Learning website. I use a learning management software called Tovuti to build registrations and online courses for workforce development. I serve as the liaison between the software developers at Tovuti, the event coordinators at CASAT, and the UNR IT Accessibility Department.

Years At CASAT / Positions Held

I have been at CASAT for 9.5 years! I started as a conference coordinator, which I did for about a year before I transitioned over to the media department. I worked as a graphic and web designer for 5 years, after which I became the Media Department Manager for 2 years. In 2021 I transitioned to a part-time position managing just 1 website, casatlearning.org

Work History

I worked in event planning for about 4 years before I came to CASAT. I worked for 2 different PGA Tour tournaments, organizing sponsor and player hospitality events, and for the Peppermill Casino as an Event Coordinator. I also worked part-time as a server and bartender for 7 years.

Personal Bio

I have two children, an almost 5 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. I’ve been married to my husband, Scotty, for 7 years. I grew up in Reno and attended UNR where I got my BS in Business Management. I love living in Reno where most of my immediate and extended family are nearby. Some of my interests include home improvement projects, planning vacations and parties, and taking our family camping during the summer.
