ou’re Invited! Lactation/Quiet Room Grand Opening Celebration | Aug 27th | 3-4 pm

The Committee on the Status of Women’s Lactation Advocacy Subcommittee is excited to announce the opening of the newest Lactation/Quiet Room in the Gender, Race, and Identity Suite, Thompson Building 106.
Lactation/Quiet Rooms are spaces on and off-campus for those who need a private place to express breast milk, breast/chest feed infants, to pray, administer medication or for those with panic/anxiety disorders. The mission of the CSW is to identify and communicate the issues and concerns of women and feminine-presenting identities, including trans women and non-binary faculty and staff regarding their experiences in, and expectations of, the University.
All are invited to attend the grand opening celebration and to celebrate National Breastfeeding Month on Tuesday, August 27th from 3-4 pm. There will be informational flyers on the Affordable Care Act and other resources that support our diverse campus community. Light refreshments will be served.
Come check out the new space! All are welcome.
