Job Description

I serve the Pacific Southwest PTTC (Region 9) and Nevada Opioid Center of Excellence (NOCE Prevention) as an Associate Project Coordinator. As an Associate Coordinator, I am responsible for providing logistical and administrative support for all aspects of virtual and in-person learning events including marketing, registration, customer service, and customer support before, during, and after events.

I have been in my current position and only position here at CASAT since December 1st, 2024.

Work History

As a UNR student I worked at the Wolf Shop in the Joe Crowley Student Union, specifically in the textbook section. There I would stock books as well as help students find all of the textbooks they’d need. After that I spent time at the front desk of Silver Legacy checking people into hotel rooms and providing customer service for not only individuals staying in a hotel room but anyone visiting the casino which could be well over 100 individuals a day. Then right before my current role here at CASAT I worked for Kappa Alpha Order. During my time with Kappa Alpha, I worked with the University of Wyoming to start a new fraternity chapter by recruiting students and holding various events.

Personal Bio

My name is Tyler Dean and I was born and raised here in Reno, Nevada. Growing up here I have spent lots of time at Lake Tahoe, skiing, camping, and many other activities in the northern Nevada area. I love being outdoors, going to the gym, watching movies, and spending time with the people I love.
