Want to experience the UNR students in a different way?

Dear Colleagues, Our Residential Life, Housing and Food Services Spring Extravaganza Dinner is only a couple of weeks away on Tuesday, May 9th. We are asking for volunteers to serve food to students in the Downunder Café at 4:45-6:15 p.m. and/or 6:15-7:45 p.m. This is a sit down dinner where faculty and staff serve students. If you've done this before you know how much fun this is, and we'd like to see you again. If you haven't it's your chance to find out. It's one of our ways of letting students know how important they are to us. It's fun and a great way to get to know students on their turf. Don't worry, no prior experience as a waiter or waitress is required; we keep it pretty simple and provide dinner to you as a thank you. Please RSVP to Barbara Hanke at bhanke@unr.edu ASAP. Thanks, Jerome Maese Director of Residential Life Barbara Hanke Resident Dining Director

Annual Christmas Tree Hunt

Each year we head to the forest to pick our tree out. It is only $15.00 and it's good for the forest as it cuts out the under forest that can lead to fires and disease. It can be challenging, but well worth the journey.
