Job Description

Nick is part of CASAT’s Certification Team. As a certification specialist, Nick conducts site visits of treatment programs in Nevada to determine compliance with State certification standards. In his role with CASAT, Nick also provides training and technical assistance to providers, addressing a range of topics, including assessment, treatment planning, and clinical supervision.

Work History

Nick has worked in the field of substance use disorder treatment since 2005 with experience in both clinical and administrative leadership roles. As a direct service provider, Nick has experience in residential and outpatient settings, and providing clinical supervision for counseling interns.

Personal Bio

In his free time, Nick enjoys golf and exercise. Nick started playing golf at the age of 8, and still plays on a regular basis. Nick has always been interested in the mental component of sports and fitness. As a Clinical Director of a substance use disorder treatment program, Nick became interested in the benefits of physical exercise on mental health. This led to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
