Biography

Job Description

I am the student services coordinator for NRAP and write the CASAT On Demand blog. My duties include working closely with collegiate students, faculty/staff, and community stakeholders. Creating a supportive environment for collegiate students in/seeking/or allies of recovery, administrative duties, and education. They additionally will be serving the role of Communication Specialist for O-TTAC. This individual will be responsible for developing and disseminating clear, accessible, and engaging content to support program goals. Writing blog posts, educational materials, and fact sheets to advance learning objectives and reach target audiences. This role supports program visibility, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge-sharing related to grant-funded activities. Be responsible for review and online publication of materials targeting professionals in the field of behavioral health.

Work History

I have spent the last 5 years working as a therapist in and Atlanta, GA. I worked at community mental health agency in College Park GA. I worked primarily with adults with a mental health diagnosis as well as coordinating the substance use programming for the agency. Most recently I was a program coordinator at a Partial Hospitalization Program in John’s Creek GA. I oversaw program development, agency compliance, and managed the treatment team.

Personal Bio

I was born and raised in the Northern Nevada area. I spent most my life here excluding a 7 year hiatus to Atlanta where I completed my master’s degree in social work. I love being back in the Mountains and getting experience 4 season’s again. I love to ski and hike and spend time at Tahoe.
